Ballwin is a suburb of St. Louis, located in St. Louis County, MO, with a population of approximately 30,404. It was named by Money magazine in 2005, 2011, and 2013 as one of the 100 best places to live in America. The community was named for John Ball, who settled at the town site in 1804.
